I am an osteopath which means I trained for 4 years learning about the body and how amazing it is.   Part of that training was to screen for conditions that need another healthcare practitioner or further testing so you don’t need a referral for a consultation. Recently I spent 9 months learning more about exercise rehabilitation and the importance of tailoring any plans to the individual’s circumstances.  I am excited by getting people moving again, so they can enjoying the things that they may have stopped doing.

Each consultation will involve you telling me about your problem and how it is affecting you, as well as me asking questions about you, and your life. Then I will ask you to do some movements and asses areas of concern.  There will normally be some manual treatment.

I am here to answer your questions and help you understand what is normal for your situation and what can be done to help.

Then we can discuss strategies for self care and come up with a plan. This may involve exercises,  stretches or other ways to change what is happening to you.

Osteopaths are mostly known for treating backs, however we can treat pains in any joint of the body. Currently I’ve become fascinated with treating painful shoulders.
